As Operations Manager of BIBA Academy, Mirella is the heart of Australia’s leading hairdressing institution. Mirella brings a fearless attitude to growth and a strong eye for detail to her role in managing the day-to-day life of the school. Whether supporting students to successful careers, recruiting teaching talent from the best in the industry or encouraging our staff to reach their full potential, Mirella is across it all. Coming from a public relations background, Mirella brings a wealth of knowledge and a quirky personal style that makes her the perfect fit for the company. Starting as a hair model and then quickly making herself an indispensable part of the administration team, Mirella has helped lead the school to many industry awards including Hair Expo Education Organisation of the Year in 2013 and 2014. She also led us to finalist positions for Hair Expo Education Business of the Year in 2016 and 2018.
After more than fifteen years with the school, Mirella is regarded as the oracle of BIBA Academy. She has helped our Director, Pavlos Divitaris, bring his vision for the company to fruition while introducing a modern and streamlined approach to the daily operations. She is as excited as ever to help take BIBA Academy to the next level.
