Successful completion of the Certificate III in Hairdressing (SHB30416) will enable overseas stylists to work in any salon as a fully qualified hairdresser.
Whilst the course is deemed as full-time, students have the option of attending 5, 4 or 3 days a week. This provides a flexible learning environment permitting the option of combined work and study. Courses can be tailored to suit specific requirements and needs.
All training for Certificate III in Hairdressing (SHB30416) is conducted at both the Fitzroy and City-based BIBA Academy campuses.
Duration
The Certificate III in Hairdressing involves 995 nominal hours delivered at either three, four or five days per week. At three days per week, the course is estimated to take 21 months. At four days per week, the course is estimated to take 16 months. At five days per week, the course is estimated to take 13 months. Please note that all new full-time students in 2024 will be required to attend three days per week on Monday, Thursday and Friday unless otherwise arranged.
Enrolments
Monthly. Enrolments are accepted upon receipt of a completed enrolment form, payment of the Confirmation of Enrolment Fee ($250.00AUD) and, where applicable, evidence of a TOEFL score of 500 or IELTS score of 5.5.
Cost
$17,625.00 .00 AUD (subject to change). Students have the option to pay a lump sum or instalments depending on their individual circumstances. The cost of the course includes to following:
- $250.00 Fee for Confirmation of Enrolment (non-refundable and GST-free)
- $530.00 BIBA Academy online learning resources (non-refundable and includes GST)
- $480.00 Student Service and Amenities Fee (non-refundable and includes GST)
- $1,440.00 Full Equipment Kit – (non-refundable, subject to change and includes GST)
- $14,925.00 Training investment (GST- free)
