Certificate III in Barbering (SHB30516) for Apprentices
BIBA Academy’s Certificate III in Barbering (SHB30516) for Apprentices involves approximately two years of study over their three-year contract. Employers have an option of sending their apprentice on day release (one day per week) or on block release (one week in every five weeks) for their off-the-job training. During this time each student must demonstrate competency in all aspects of barbering to complete the units of the course.
All apprenticeship training is conducted at BIBA Academy’s Johnston Street Campus in Fitzroy unless otherwise arranged.
New apprentice enrolments are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Candidates will need to secure their position with a salon or barbershop prior to commencing their training at BIBA Academy.
Contact us on (03) 9415 8488 for more information on how to begin your apprenticeship training. Please note that apprentice students generally attend BIBA Academy for their off-the-job training either one day per week or one week in every five weeks.
