In 2022, there’s one particularly great thing about life as we know it – hair keeps growing, we love to keep it looking good, and good grooming boosts our morale! At BIBA Hair Academy, we’re sticking to our plan of keeping everyone’s spirits high with our Award-winning and motivated crew of educators, who are continuing to help our huge bunch of dedicated students to master the art of cutting, colouring, styling, shampooing and shaving. As Simon, our BIBA Director, says, “We may have to wear face masks, but our locks still out there to be seen – and our amazing team is working hard to give the people what they want – whether their hair is blonde, brown, pink, blue or green!”

The upbeat vibe never wavers, our classic old brick walls are full of stories, and we love to hear what’s been going on – aside from the pandemic. You’ll find our online assessment and reporting system easy to use, our information sharing SRS allows you to integrate with Google Classroom, and if lockdowns happen again, we’ve got processes we can quickly activate to keep on keeping on…

We’re serious about great training at our BIBA hairdressing schools, but we’re even more serious about making the learning fun, self-paced, adaptable to our students’ real-life commitments, and what’s more, the school is open to people of all ages. We constantly find older age individuals coming through the door because they want to learn new career skills. They may have always wanted to be a hairdresser, and COVID has put them into a pickle. With the onset of potential unemployment, or reduced hours (in some job areas), some are using the opportunity (or adversity) to propel themselves into a new and exciting vocation. And once they enter our world, they switch-on, start to smile broadly, and soon see the benefits of caring for hair in a multitude of ways. There’s no better time to enrol and have-a-go. Likewise, high school graduates, parents returning to work, and those who are not finding the love in their current job, are also drawn to the opportunities that we, at BIBA can offer.
